Sample of B2B Article and How It’s a Win-Win for You Both

You’ve known about business-to-business marketing - businesses that market to other businesses, either in the form of a product, service, or informative content - but did you know, with the help of link-building, digital content marketing can help you both out. It’s different than business to consumer writing, where you are marketing to a consumer or individual, instead of a corporation, so of course the rules will be a bit different.

When you target other businesses, you want your content to reflect how you can help them increase their sales and productivity, therefore their bottom line. In an example I will list below, you will see how writing for the B2B market isn’t necessarily hard, it just means learning what the company needs and ensuring you have it, whether that’s a product, service, or just plain good information. Once that’s established, you can link to other publishers that then link-build back to your business, either by a direct quote or other articles that are relevant, increasing your traffic, as well. Better yet, the more links you build, the more you rank on search engines.
According to Neil Patel, entrepreneur and influencer, it’s vital to have links from diverse sites, to ensure a higher ranking.

401(k) Strategy To Maximize Your Employers Match

https://www.inquisitr.com/1119872/401k-strategy-to-maximize-employers-match/

Since many employers started offering 401k plans back in the early 80’s, millions of employees have taken advantage of this gold nugget and maximized their retirement plans. However, due to the state of the economy and other retirement-based issues, experts have now discovered ways to further maximize this additional retirement safety net so your 401k plans go the way you always dreamed.

Some great strategies for 401k plans are discussed on US News money blog, with an article specifically addressing retirement strategies that will further protect you; these include some strategies about 401k you may not know about but could really help with retirement plans in the future.

In an associated report from this Inquisitr article, Retirement Crisis Looms for the Unprepared, it further drives home the point that workers aren’t saving nearly enough on 401k plans, and since cuts to social security and the ever-decreasing pension funds are occurring at alarming rates, these strategies will be even more critical to your 401k.

One such 401k strategy that is gaining popularity and importance is not accepting the default savings rate. New employees usually net only 3 percent for their 401k plans, so if you put in 3 percent, the company will match your investment. For many people, that may not be enough to secure the same lifestyle into retirement. A good strategy for 401k is every year you get a raise, take 1 percent and sock it away into your retirement plan. By doing so, you should have 20 percent of your pay devoted to retirement, and if the company continues to match your 401k, this could result in a future lucrative nest egg.

Implementing this strategy can also help with maximizing your tax break. Usually, 401K plans allow you to divert paying income tax on retirement savings since investors can contribute up to $17,000, as of 2012. After age 50, it jumps up to $22,000. For couples, it can reach as high as $57,500 and saving in a 401K plan can claim the saver’s tax credit, which can net savings of $1,000 for single people and $2,000 for couples.

Also, you may be tempted to cash out your 401k funds if you quit a job, but doing so before the age of 59 and 6 months amounts to a 10 percent early withdrawal penalty and income tax on the withdrawn amount. Withdrawing early can also cause you to lose out on compound interest, crucial for securing that 401k nest egg.

Utilizing this important strategy will ensure you get the maximum employer’s 401k match. Just remember to ask your HR rep about your 401k questions.

When you can build links back to your company, through several avenues, it can substantially increase your traffic, leading to new customers or clients.

Need a Blog Writer that Can Implement These 7 Crucial Elements?

Blog writing has evolved into much more than just a personal accounting of someone’s day, their trip, or even their hobbies; it’s turned into the top way to market your company. Blog posts, when done consistently and creatively, can foster an environment where readers can learn about your products or services quickly and with as much information as possible - without dragging on and on and on....

In fact, more and more corporatons are turning to blogs, and blog writers, to reflect their voice for their business. A well-written and informative blog can do wonders for your client-base and potenial clients or customers looking for what you have to offer. However, what you include in a blog post is vastly important and should include 7 elements.

Below, is a blog post I wrote for a dental office company in the U.S.A. Once I finished the blog, with target-rich SEO keywords, I posted it on their blog, and then a social media specialist added it to all of their social media accounts, to get traffic and interest in the dental office. Can you spot the 7 elements I have included?

Can Dental Sealants Really Prevent Cavities?

There are many preventative services to help stave off decay and cavities. Dental sealants have shown a promising result for the reduction of decay, from the result of bacteria that eats away the dentin. Here are some benefits to dental sealants that can prevent cavities.

1. Effectively creates a protective barrier from bacteria and plaque from forming
2. Can be applied in one short visit
3. Protects teeth from acid, such as from foods, beverages, and saliva
4. Safe treatment
5. Can stop decay in its earliest stages, in effect, sealing the bacteria inside, preventing it from turning into a cavity that would need a restoration
6. Lasts years and can potentially save from getting future dental work

Applying dental sealants is an easy process. First, the dentist or a dental assistant, thoroughly cleans and prepares the teeth being sealed. We then apply the sealants to the surface of the teeth, where it bonds with the enamel. A special light is then applied to “cure” the sealant, which hardens it; this prevents saliva or anything else from washing it away.

After having sealants applied, there are some things to be aware of and do to ensure the stability of dental sealants in [city], [state]. For one thing, even though dental sealants typically stay on for years, there are factors that can play into the length of duration. Regular dentist visits are important to schedule, so Dr. [doctor_name] can check and ensure the sealants are still viable. Just because you have sealants does not mean you can slack on brushing and flossing either.

Dental sealants, bacteria, dental cavities, dentist, protection

The post was only about 300 words, but it conveyed everything it needed to reach the intended audience. You can see there were these elements: the product, 5 keywords placed in the best possible places, benefits to dental sealants, informative content about sealants, the practice name, (and doctor in this case) and location, and a call-to-action at the end of the post. You will also notice an interesting and engaging title to help draw readers in, which is just as important as the blog post itself. If you don’t have a catchy or at least an interesting title, very few will want to read what you have to say.

Little Secrets to Get the Most Out of SEO Keywords

Yesterday, I wrote about some of the strategic ways SEO can help your business, focusing on tips to draw more traffic to your site. Today, I want to touch basis on some secrets you may not know about, when it comes to the SEO keywords you choose to implement in your content.

First secret is that keywords can be the difference between getting the right audience, increased traffic, and more customers, clients, or patients or getting penalized by Google. You see, Google relies on a algorithm that taps into distinct keywords that then targets the intended audience for your business. So, if you own a beauty business in Roanoke, VA, U.S.A., and you mainly sell makeup, your keywords need to be specific and targeted to that area, focusing on females. If you fill your content with a bunch of keywords that has a forced feel to it, not only will you get in trouble with Google, it will turn off your readership. No one wants to read an article that is non-sensical, only to get keywords stuffed in there. So, if I was writing an article about the benefits on mineral makeup, my keywords might look like this:

Keywords: beauty, mineral makeup, women’s beauty, makeup, roanoke, va.

That’s it.

You see that I included the niche, the product, the targeted audience, and the location. In a 500-word article or blog post, a keyword density of 20-30% would ensure Google is happy and the content reads and flows naturally, so placing keywords in the beginning paragraph, (not the first sentence) will ensure a natural beginning. Then, placing the chosen keywords in the meat of the article, and then at the end, allows for Google to pick up the necessary keywords that your target audience may be looking for; and the more unique your keywords are for your business, the easier potential customers can find you.

Another secret is the meta description you include should always have the company name, location, a hook that draws in a seeker, and a call-to-action. Here’s an example:

The best makeup is natural makeup that doesn’t clog your pores or damage your sensitive skin, so get in touch with our award-winning customer service team at Kaleidoscope Beauty in Orange County, CA, where right now we offer a 10% discount on all our mineral makeup!

I’ve included the necessary keywords and a call-to-action, but more importantly, I put the business name and location next to each other, so when a surfer looks up the company name and location, your site comes up top in the search engines.

One last secret, and this one goes against everything you may have known about SEO keywords. Above, you saw that I included just enough keywords to allow Google to crawl through a website and pick up the exact keywords a company would need to place high on search engines, but I didn’t add more than what was necessary.

In yesteryears of SEO, companies thought the more keywords you put in your content, the better it was for Google to pick them up, and the higher your ranking would be - but we’ve learned a thing or two about that and now realize it confuses Google, makes for a messy, unnatural article or blog, and frankly is unneeded. And one last thing. There is a limit to how long the meta description can be, and if you go over it, Google will cut you off, so tread lightly with those descriptions and only add those above elements I listed.

Next time, I will focus on the content itself and what you should include to ensure your target audience will keep coming back, and better yet, will turn into a customer, client, or patient.

Happy Independence Day, America

Yes, it’s a day late, but I was out partying last night with the rest of America. Today, it’s the day to get busy. I have been advertising more of my freelance writing business on Twitter and will soon do the same thing with Instagram, posting tips on content digital marketing. It’s my hope that companies will see that and want to contact me for my services.

After being in the SEO game for over a decade, I’ve learned a thing or two about strategies that can ensure companies shoot to the top of search engines, reaching their intended audience. Some of these strategies include:

  1. The right keywords in the right place - in the past, stuffing keywords in an article just to ensure Google would pick up the right words for their search engine used to be the big thing - not anymore. It matters where you place specific keywords, so they read naturally and never forced.
  2. Long enough meta descriptions that targets the audience and calls for action, but doesn’t bog down the message.
  3. Keyword density - it’s important to get the right SEO keywords, in the right place, with the right amount, whether it be in a blog, website, or article.
  4. Target the intended audience with buzz words - if you live on the west or east coast and your business mainly comes from tourists, including buzz words in your content can attract a potential customer, patient, or client. For instance, if someone is looking for a smart car to get the best gas mileage in California for a site-seeing adventure, they may be looking at price, availability, and convenience - those elements should be key players and included in your content right from the get-go. And as always, at the conclusion of the article or blog post is a call-to-action, including contact information and hours of operation.
  5. Target the geography within 20 mile radius - too long and you may get people who balk at driving 30 minutes away for a product or service, and too short of a distance may result in missing a number of potential customers or patients. Targeting around 8-10 cities within your business’s location should be enough to attract the right audience.
These are just a few strategies to increase your traffic, thus your bottomline.

It’s been quite a while since I wrote a post, so I figured now is as good as any. I was always told change is envitable, just like death and taxes. I am one who doesn’t thrive too much on change, but it’s been a constant in my life for decades - sometimes too much. For instance, within three years, all three children left the nest, two got married and had children, the youngest went off to college. Before I was ready, I was an empty-nester. To say it’s an adjustment, is an understatement.

Since that time, we have redone our house - decluttered, repainted, got new appliances, new carpet, and a new HVAC system - which is very expensive, btw. We have probably added about $10,000-20,000 value onto the home and proud of what we’ve done so far. We still have a lot more we want to do, but we got the necessary changes done first, plus we’re exhausted!

I have been flitting back and forth with jobs, doing some more freelance, when I get the opportunity. I am also trying to get my brain to rewire itself, due to the nervous system being on high alert and creating chronic pain. One day, I will heal and get not just my old life back, but hopefully a better one. In the meantime, I just keep trudging along and reading all about neruoscience and neuroplasticity. I could have been a neuroscientist in another life....
